Hi you beautiful humans,
Ahh. It’s been a while since I’ve written to you, and honestly, I’ve been reflecting on what this newsletter is meant to be. Initially, it was all about Wellness Wednesday tips of the week, but lately, that doesn’t quite feel aligned anymore.
I’ve evolved so much since the start of 2024, and the way I show up and where I add value has shifted, too. What hasn’t changed is my purpose: to serve you by sharing my experiences, thoughts, and learnings. It just might look a little different for now.
This year has been incredibly sweet, fruitful! Just like my word of intention for 2024. God has elevated my life in such a beautiful way, and I can truly say: This has been my year. After back to back years of more challenges than wins and more anxiety than peace, I can finally pause, look around, and say, “I deserve this!!!”
Not Alicia Keys with this quote as I was writing this and ofc lost my thought and went to scroll lol. *alignment* but also *a message for you* ;)
Of course, if you follow my Instagram stories, you know it has also felt complex and sort of guilty. As an empath, it hurts to know so many people in the world hurt, knowing so many people have had their hardest year yet. But a few months ago, I was reminded of something that shifted my perspective a bit and helped me enjoy my season more (specially as we prepare for what may be a very hard season for marginalized folks under the coming administration): By being my best self and letting myself be whole, I get to help so many more people.
It’s easy to feel like joy and rest is a privilege we have to apologize for. But when we show up whole, when we take care of our mental, emotional, and physical well-being we build capacity. Capacity to support others. Capacity to advocate. Capacity to love more deeply. In times like these, showing up as our best selves is one of the most radical, impactful things we can do. You’re allowed to feel joy even when the world feels heavy.
Because when we’re whole, we have so much more to give.
With so much love,
Eiryn
So what’s coming up for TWE and Calmly Blooming?
Well, in case you didn’t know or missed my update, I sunsetted TWE earlier this year after i started a full time job as a brand marketing manager 🥹 (I love it!!) It was truly bittersweet, but it was 100% time to do so. I will always be a wellness girly ofc, it’s my lifestyle and I’ll continue to share things, but I’ll officially be shuting my website down in the next couple of months and changing my IG handle too.. huge!
Calmly Blooming is still on and thriving, both as a floral business and a wellness products biz. We have our first wedding in 2025 🥹. We also have a wellness journal being released in the Spring! So yeah, CB is just getting started baby!! Make sure you’re following us :)
We are also donating 100% of our profits from gratitude journals for the ret of the year to Palestinian Children Relief Fund and The Loveland Foundation. It’s been a huge success so far and I can’t wait to see how much we end up donating at the end of 2024 🥳
